We wanted to give others a chance to listen in on two friends who love Jesus talking about the word and truth. Each week we will release an entire conversation that is about an hour and a half. Every conversation will be three parts and be around forty minutes each episode. Every Monday will be part 1, Wednesday part 2 and Friday part 3, and every week is a different conversation. We pray you find hope in every episode as we discuss different topics. These conversations may challenge you or encourage you. All In (Part 3 of 3)
Part 3! How important is it to being all in for the kingdom of God?
Your life is the result of choices—YOUR choices. Others can influence or hinder you, but your choices are the determining factor of your destiny. It is never too late to make the right choices.
My spiritual life started with making a choice. I had been seeking to know the Lord’s will for my life when He directed me to Romans 12:1-2, which says,
“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
He showed me His will for my life was to be completely committed, or all in for Him. That’s the main thing. I started seeking to become a living sacrifice to the Lord with all my heart.
